The Ao Dai Festival is an annual cultural and tourism event of the Ho Chi Minh City tourism sector, held regularly every March, bringing together hundreds of ao dai designs ranging from traditional to modern interpretations, creating a lasting and impressive image of Vietnamese culture and people in the hearts of visitors from near and far.
Through a series of distinctive activities that celebrate and convey the beauty of the nation’s ao dai, held at historical and cultural landmarks, tourist destinations, and key architectural works across Ho Chi Minh City — including the Festival Opening Ceremony, the Ao Dai Parade, ao dai inspiration programs, the Graceful Ao Dai Competition, the Ao Dai Drawing Contest, and the Online Ao Dai Competition — the festival has contributed to painting Ho Chi Minh City as a vibrant and colorful destination.
