BA SON BRIDGE

Ba Son Bridge—a new icon of Ho Chi Minh City—began construction in early 2015 and was officially completed and opened for public use in April 2022. The project has a total length of 1,465m, with the bridge structure itself spanning 885.7m, divided into six lanes including four for cars and two for mixed traffic.
With its unique architecture and artistic lighting system, the bridge features 56 asymmetrical stay-cable bundles connected to a 113-meter-high arched main pylon that leans toward Thu Thiem in Thu Duc City. Ba Son Bridge is expected to be a prominent architectural symbol on the Saigon River, deeply intertwined with the historical and cultural traditions as well as the ongoing development of Ho Chi Minh City.
